Dems SABOTAGE America for Election Boost!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“Democrats have instigated a disgusting dereliction of duty unlike anything I have seen in all my years doing this work,” Rollins said. She added that she was “embarrassed” for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), calling him the “driving force” behind the shutdown.

“He is going out of his way to please the likes of Zohran Mamdani, a man who is polarizing America with his socialist rhetoric and anti-American principles,” Rollins continued. “The very essence of government responsibility is to the citizens who live and work here, to protect their interests first — unless you are a Democrat in the United States Senate.”

Courts Step In as Chaos Deepens

On Friday, two Obama-appointed federal judges intervened, ordering the Trump administration to dip into emergency reserves to keep food stamp benefits flowing—despite warnings that doing so could violate the law.

In Rhode Island, U.S. District Judge John McConnell directed $6 billion in contingency funds toward SNAP, funds typically reserved for natural disasters. Meanwhile, in Boston, Judge Indira Talwani ruled the administration couldn’t allow benefits to lapse, writing, “Defendants erred in concluding that USDA is statutorily prohibited from using the contingency reserve to fund SNAP benefits during the pendency of the lapse in appropriations.”

The Justice Department was expected to appeal the rulings but had not filed any motion by Friday’s close of business. Democrats celebrated the move as a pressure tactic. One congressional source told The Post, “The court order puts more heat on the GOP to negotiate.”

Trump Fires Back

President Trump, refusing to let the issue go unchallenged, responded swiftly on Truth Social.

“It is already delayed enough due to the Democrats keeping the Government closed through the monthly payment date,” he wrote. “If we are given the appropriate legal direction by the Court, it will BE MY HONOR to provide the funding, just like I did with Military and Law Enforcement Pay.”

No End in Sight

Even Democrats privately admit there’s no resolution on the horizon. “There has been some outreach by GOP members from the House and Senate in states that have now gotten health insurance premium increases, but it hasn’t yet meant GOP leaders are willing to listen,” one Democratic staffer confessed. “The weekend seems status quo but talks continue.”

Republican leaders have already floated multiple proposals to get the country back on track. House lawmakers passed a bill on September 19 to reopen the government, with Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine) breaking ranks to vote with Republicans.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) has also put forward a bipartisan proposal that would extend ObamaCare subsidies—but only if Democrats agree to pass a continuing resolution first to reopen the government.

Political Gamble or Moral Failure?

As open enrollment for ObamaCare begins, the shutdown threatens to ripple through every corner of American life—from delayed payments to stalled aid programs. Critics argue Democrats are deliberately holding the country hostage for electoral gain.

With families struggling to buy groceries and veterans missing paychecks, the question isn’t just when the government will reopen—but whether Democrats care more about politics than the people they claim to represent.
