In a chilling turn of events, an explosion rocked the Santa Maria Courthouse in California on Wednesday morning, leaving two individuals injured and causing a wave of panic in the area. The blast, triggered by an improvised explosive device (IED), occurred just after the courthouse opened its doors for the day, throwing the building and surrounding area into chaos.
At approximately 8:35 a.m., a man burst into Department 9 of the courthouse, screaming alarming accusations. According to CalCoastNews.com, the man shouted that “the FDA is poisoning 900,000 people every year” before hurling what appeared to be a bomb into the room. Witnesses described a terrifying scene as the device detonated, sending smoke billowing through the courthouse.
