Biggs immediately fired back on social media:
“FBI Director Wray just told me he ‘does not believe’ there were any undercover FBI agents in or around the U.S. Capitol on January 6. This claim has been already debunked—including by the former U.S. Capitol Police Chief.”
Biggs warned, “Wray will be held accountable for this lie.”
The Bombshell Number: 274 Agents
This week, the FBI itself finally admitted that 274 plainclothes agents were embedded in the massive January 6th crowds. That is not just a handful of operatives — that is an army.
The Blaze confirmed the number through a senior congressional source, who noted that while counter-surveillance is not unusual at large gatherings, the scale of the deployment was shocking given the Bureau’s stonewalling for years.
WATCH:
For context, the Department of Justice’s own Office of Inspector General flatly claimed in its December 2024 report:
“We found no evidence in the materials we reviewed or the testimony we received showing or suggesting that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds, or at the Capitol, on January 6.”
Both cannot be true. Either the Inspector General’s report was deceptive, or Director Wray was.
A Pattern of Infiltration
This isn’t the first time the feds have been caught quietly embedding themselves in January 6th-related groups.
Court filings reveal the DOJ admitted to at least 40 undercover operatives with the Proud Boys that day. In November 2022, the FBI also acknowledged it had eight informants inside the Proud Boys organization, with “likely more.”
Even The Oath Keepers were targeted. Before trial, DOJ lawyers admitted the government was running Confidential Human Sources inside the group. The revelation came only after defense teams were blindsided.
Proud Boys defendant Dominic Pezzola recently confirmed the FBI and DOJ’s admissions — and the number of infiltrators keeps climbing. From 40, to 50, to now more than 274 when counting plainclothes agents in the crowd.
The Bigger Question: A Fedsurrection?
The Gateway Pundit has documented at least 20 separate incidents of undercover operatives working January 6th. Each one confirmed through government records or mainstream press.
So, how many government assets were actually present? Nobody knows the true number. But evidence now suggests hundreds — enough to influence, steer, and even escalate events on the ground.
This changes everything. If Wray lied, and if the DOJ Inspector General’s report is false, then the official story of January 6 collapses.
Accountability Must Come
For years, Americans have been smeared as “domestic terrorists” while federal agencies hid their own involvement. Patriots have been jailed, families destroyed, and lives ruined — all while the FBI ran covert operations in the crowd.
Now the truth is emerging, and the question is unavoidable: was January 6 truly a “riot of Trump supporters,” or was it a carefully engineered Fedsurrection?
Congress must demand accountability. And Chris Wray must answer for his lies under oath.
