For years, Americans were told that January 6th was an “unprecedented insurrection.” Now, newly revealed numbers suggest it was something far darker — a government operation at the highest levels.
Former FBI Director James Comey may not be the only Bureau head facing legal jeopardy. Current Director Christopher Wray has now been caught in a direct lie to Congress, and the latest disclosures could seal his fate.
Wray’s Denials Under Oath
During a July 2023 hearing, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) pressed Wray on whether federal agents were planted inside the January 6th crowds. Wray refused to provide a number and even claimed to doubt they existed at all.
“I’m not sure there were undercover agents on scene,” Wray told Biggs. “As I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents on.”
