Tom Homan, former ICE director and now border czar, delivered news that has Chicago Democrats scrambling. During a recent appearance on CNN’s State of the Union, Homan confirmed that federal immigration enforcement operations are set to target Chicago this week.
Speaking to Jake Tapper, Homan didn’t mince words. Americans should “absolutely” expect federal action in the city. This announcement follows President Trump’s earlier warning in August that federal troops could be deployed to restore order, similar to the federal takeover of Washington, D.C.
