As Congress rapidly wrapped up the year, they enacted a $1.7 trillion spending bill in a “omnibus” avalanche that was sure to brighten the season with numerous advantages… and maybe provide some more eggnog for Washington’s favorite lawmakers!

The recently announced trillion-dollar spending measure had a less usual list of additions in addition to more than 7,500 significant earmarks. Numerous instances of “Woke rubbish” were found inside its vast 4,155 pages; this discovery has drawn both interest and criticism from folks across the country.

$1,500,000 for the COVID–19 American History Project
$200 million for a Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund
$477,000 for Equity Training for Teachers
$300,000 per year for the Continuous Plankton Recorder

A group of 31 conservatives issued an urgent appeal to Senate Republicans, telling them that if they don’t take every action possible to block this measure, the results might be disastrous for our country. Nobody should make this decision carelessly because doing so could have long-term political and other consequences.

More than a simple reprimand is due to the GOP congressmen who choose to betray their constituents by supporting this abhorrent bill. Instead, let’s ensure that these traitors’ names are recorded in history when they depart Capitol Hill in disgrace.
