The ambush at Martin Sheen’s birthday
The moment came in the early 1990s during what Sheen thought was going to be a celebration for his father, Martin Sheen’s, 50th birthday. His mother called him early in the morning about the party, and he assumed balloons and cake would be waiting.
Instead, he walked into what he later described as “a really expertly organized circle of people” sitting in his family’s living room.
