Chaos Strikes: South Carolina Voters Blocked by Internet Outage!

While the South Carolina Republican Primary is still underway, a Richland County precinct has already reported experiencing problems with their vote tabulator.

Tony Burkes is a voter in the precinct, and Michelle Backus of Real America’s Voice spoke with him at Satchel Ford Elementary in Columbia, South Carolina. Burkes scanned his completed vote and saw an error message.

Tell me if you recognize this now: The voter was then informed by a poll worker that “they didn’t have internet” and that he would need to “fold it and slide it into another slot. It looked kind of like a trash can.”

Richland County, South Carolina uses the ES&S ExpressPoll and ExpressVote systems in conjunction with DS200 optical scanners.
