Democrats said that the 2020 election will be the most “secure election in history,” but fresh information contradicts this. After allegations of serious election fraud originating from votes cast in the last election, Shakir Khan, a council member from California, was detained.
“Our investigation uncovered that councilman Shakir Khan has attempted to undermine, manipulate and violate one of our most fundamental rights here in our country, and that is the right to free and fair elections,” Sheriff Patrick Withrow of San Joaquin County underlined the importance of safety procedures at a news conference.

“It appears councilman Shakir Khan has targeted members of his own community, our Pakistani community in the north county,” he continued. “And we are doing everything we can to work with them to make sure that they are protected and that any damage done to them or their families is corrected by this man’s actions.”

•Submission of fraudulent registration to the Secretary of State
•Submission of fraudulent Candidacy petition
•Aiding/abetting the commission of fraud at any election
•Subscription of fictitious names to nomination petitions

Khan, a candidate for Lodi City Council District 4, had 41 mail-in votes that had been sealed and filled out when officers searched his residence. This purported revelation allegedly led to a probe into whether his bid for public office was legitimate.
“When we saw this, we thought that something was off here and we didn’t know we had a crime at this particular point because there was a recent change in election law and people can turn in ballots on behalf of another,” At the news conference, Capt. Art Harty of the sheriff’s office remarked.
Authorities revealed concerning information on Thursday: 70 people were registered to vote using a single location and phone number or email address. This is calling into severe doubt the fairness of our election system, which we must defend at all costs.
