CA Man ARRESTED After Threatening Top Conservative Host!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

She continued by describing the explicit nature of the threat: “The author of this letter made it very clear that he hated Benny because of his views, and he wanted Benny dead.”

Bondi: “Cowards Behind Keyboards Will Be Caught”

The attorney general did not mince words when addressing the suspect’s motivations. Bondi slammed the attacker’s attempt to hide behind anonymity and assured the public that such intimidation tactics will not succeed.

“This was a coward hiding behind a keyboard who thought he could get away with this. That’s why we’re standing up here today. You are not going to get away with threatening people in this way. And I’m proud to announce that we have arrested the author of this letter,” she declared.

According to Bondi, the incident is part of a dangerous and growing trend. Since President Donald Trump returned to the White House, she says federal agents and conservative public figures have faced a dramatic increase in politically motivated hostility from the Left.

Warning to Would-Be Political Attackers

Bondi issued a clear and forceful message: no matter where you are, federal authorities will pursue justice.

“We are going to catch you if you think you can do something like this,” she warned. “We don’t care if you’re across the country in California, we will find you. We will arrest you, we will extradite you, and we will bring you to justice. We cannot allow this political violence to continue any longer. This arrest will serve as a reminder to many — do not do this. We will find you.”

Federal Agencies Trace Letter Back to San Diego

U.S. Attorney Gregory Kehoe told reporters that Johnson acted quickly and responsibly after receiving the disturbing letter, saying Johnson “immediately contacted” the Tampa Police Department. From there, multiple agencies — including the FBI, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the U.S. Postal Service — joined forces to track down the source.

Johnson is a well-known conservative commentator who currently boasts more than 6 million subscribers on YouTube

Investigators ultimately traced the letter to San Diego after identifying fingerprints, pointing them directly to Isbell.

The Letter’s Chilling Content

The Justice Department’s criminal complaint lays out the horrifying details. According to their statement:

“According to the complaint, on or about Sept. 18, Isbell mailed a letter from San Diego threatening to injure his victim, a media personality located in Tampa, Florida, and telling his victim that the victim needed ‘to be exterminated.’”

The letter referenced Charlie Kirk and delivered a string of graphic threats. In one portion, the writer told Johnson he hoped the American flag “strangles the life out of you.” It escalated further with: “Maybe someone will blow your head off!!! We can hope! Planning any public engagements? Love to see your head explode and your blood stain the concrete red. What a sight!”

Potential Prison Time

If convicted on the federal charge, Isbell faces up to five years in prison — a penalty many argue is long overdue for individuals targeting conservatives with violent threats.
