Donald Trump, a former president, disobeyed a judge’s order, paid a $5,000 fine, and shared a bizarre courtroom photograph with Jesus Christ.
Last Friday, the former president posted the image on Truth Social and Instagram.
Trump’s cartoon was first shared on Truth Social by user Dom Lucre in October, according to the New York Post.
“This is the most accurate court sketch of all time. Because nobody could have made it this far alone,” Lucre added a caption.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a Republican, made an astonishing parallel between the persecution of Jesus and Trump’s April arrest on a charge of falsifying corporate documents.
“Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government,” she said then.
“There have been many people throughout history that have been arrested and persecuted by radical corrupt governments, and it’s beginning today in New York City.”
Trump was penalized for contacting Chuck Schumer’s girlfriend Allison Greenfield, the clerk for Judge Engoron.
Engoron directed the removal of the post from Truth Social, but it was still available for two weeks on Trump’s campaign website.
Although Engoron recognized that the post’s continued appearance on the internet appeared accidental, he was determined not to ignore it.

“In this current overheated political climate, incendiary untruths can, and in some cases already have, led to serious physical harm, and worse,” he wrote.
“Make no mistake: future violations, whether intentional or unintentional, will subject the violator to far more severe sanctions,” said the judge. Higher fines or prison time might be part of such penalties.
