A Fulton County citizen chastised District Attorney Fani Willis for her “gross mismanagement of taxpayers’ dollars” during a recent public comment period. In the vehement declaration, he also accused Willis of meddling in the elections.
Willis was embroiled in a scandal following an alleged liaison with a lawyer assigned to the Trump probe. According to court records, Willis gave the attorney over $700,000 in taxpayer money in exchange for his services on the case.

The Georgian Fulton County DA may soon be in legal hot water if Senate Republicans use their subpoena power to launch a broad inquiry.
Due to Willis’ actions, Fulton County resident Derek Blassingame told county commissioners earlier this week that he was “done” with the county.
“Some of you have made the comment this morning on my way here that he’s done, he’s through, it’s over. Well, I want to let you know that Derek Blassingame, I’m done with Fulton County fumbling our elections,” Blassingame said. “I’m disgusted at the information that is coming out of the district attorney’s office as a taxpayer. I am done with most of your silence at the DA’s apparent love affair with the special prosecutor and gross mismanagement of taxpayers’ dollars to pursue what appears to be a frivolous lawsuit based off of partisan politics.”
Blassingame proceeded to charge Willis with election tampering in 2024 and requested a comprehensive review of her probe. “The DA appears to be trying to protect past elections but upon information of belief she’s trying to interfere with future elections by trying to convict a candidate before the general election. I’m requesting a financial audit to be done by the county auditor of the district attorney’s office immediately,” he said.

Despite being accused, Willis insists he never gave Wade more than he earned. She contends that racial prejudice is the primary cause of the hostility they both experienced.
