The Republican leadership is dramatically restructuring some of the most important committees in the House. Representatives Eric Swalwell, Adam Schiff, and Ilhan Omar have all lost their positions on these important committees. Speaker of the California House McCarthy, who backed this choice, noted its importance for future success in a news release. “It’s not like it’s anything new,” McCarthy continued, “Remember, this is what Nancy Pelosi – this is the type of Congress she wanted to have.”
He criticized fellow Californian Eic Swallwell for having a relationship with Chinese snitch Fang Fang. “Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector; I’m not going to give him a government security clearance.” Congressman Swalwell’s 2014 campaign was successful in large part because to Fang Fang, who also had ties to the Chinese Communist Party, which he was made aware of. Representative Swallwell’s continued membership on the Intelligence Committee was approved by Speaker Pelosi despite his dubious associations, while Republican leader McCarthy slammed Schiff for a habit of dishonesty. “Schiff has lied too many times to the American public. Due to her anti-Semitic comments and views, Rep. Ilhan Omar has faced criticism from both party members and political opponents throughout her time in the Democratic Party. She was nevertheless chosen to join the esteemed House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Troy Nehls, a congressman, tweeted, “Speaker McCarthy confirms that Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, and Ilhan Omar are getting kicked off the Intel and Foreign Affairs Committees.

In a recent interview with Sebastian Gorka, Rep. Nehls discussed the difficulties facing the Biden administration and referred to the “there is a crisis at every corner” brought on by their actions over the previous two years. He emphasized how the Freedom Caucus members of the GOP are fighting for the interests of the American people by working to stop any legislation that doesn’t benefit them.
The Freedom Caucus stood up for the American people and prevented Rep. McCarthy from being appointed speaker, forcing him to make the necessary adjustments and establish new House rules that would benefit all Americans.
