Authorities in Dallas are still piecing together the shocking details behind Wednesday’s rooftop assault targeting a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility — a rampage that ended with gunman Joshua Jahn, 29, taking his own life. But now, investigators have uncovered strange evidence that raises even more questions than answers.
Shortly after Jahn was cornered by police and ended his life, officials discovered a blue Toyota Corolla parked close to the crime scene. Taped to the car’s rear panel was a crude, hand-drawn map with disturbing references to “radioactive fallout” and “nuclear detonations” allegedly hovering over the region decades ago.
The mysterious diagram appeared to have nothing to do with ICE or immigration enforcement — a major puzzle for law enforcement trying to uncover Jahn’s motive. Even his family members were stunned.
