Bomb Threats FORCE Poll Closures in New Jersey!

Election Day chaos erupted across New Jersey Tuesday as bomb threats forced police to swarm multiple polling sites — temporarily halting voting in several counties during one of the most closely watched state races in years.

Law enforcement scrambled across seven counties — including heavily contested Passaic — after a series of emailed bomb threats arrived early in the morning. The situation immediately triggered lockdowns and evacuations at some polling places while police swept the sites for explosives.

Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way, who oversees the state’s elections, confirmed the threats but tried to calm public fears. “Law enforcement has determined that there are no credible threats at this time,” Way said. “We are doing everything in our power to protect voters and poll workers and coordinate closely with state, local and federal partners to ensure a smooth and safe election.”

The scare came at a critical moment — as voters lined up to cast ballots in a tense gubernatorial race that has drawn national attention. Many compared the incident to similar hoaxes that disrupted voting operations in key battleground states last year. Election security remains a top concern among voters frustrated by what they see as growing instability and interference in the nation’s democratic process.
