Democrat lawmakers in Illinois just picked a fight with federal immigration authorities — and they know it’s headed straight for court.
In a stunning move, Illinois Democrats passed a bill that would effectively ban U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from arresting illegal immigrants near courthouses, hospitals, or schools. The legislation creates what amounts to a 1,000-foot “immunity bubble” around courthouses and other public institutions, daring the Trump administration to challenge it.
A “Safe Zone” for Illegal Immigrants
The new law establishes a 1,000-foot “safe zone” around courthouses, parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways. Within that zone, ICE agents are prohibited from detaining anyone attending court hearings — whether they’re defendants, witnesses, or supporters.
Incredibly, the law even allows individuals to sue federal officers personally for up to $10,000 if they’re detained for immigration purposes within those zones. Additional penalties can be imposed for so-called “aggravating factors” such as the use of masks or “excessive force” during an arrest.

These illegals are 100% Trumps responseability and the states don’t have the jurisdiction to stop him.
