Hollywood actor Quinton Aaron, best known for his role in the blockbuster sports drama The Blind Side, is battling for his life after a sudden and frightening medical emergency at his Atlanta home.

According to his manager and a newly launched GoFundMe campaign, the 41-year-old actor collapsed while climbing the stairs inside his residence after his legs unexpectedly gave out beneath him. The incident led to an emergency hospitalization that has stretched on for several days and placed Aaron on life support as doctors work to stabilize a severe blood infection.
His manager confirmed to TMZ that Aaron has been hospitalized in Atlanta for the past three days and remains under intensive medical supervision. While the situation remains serious, there has been some cautious optimism as doctors continue testing to determine the root cause of the sudden collapse.
A fundraiser organized by Veterans Aid Network paints a sobering picture of the ordeal facing Aaron and his family.
“This has been sudden, frightening, and overwhelming for his loved ones,” the organizer wrote.
