For years, comedian and HBO host Bill Maher has been one of the most recognizable voices on the American left.
While Maher has frequently criticized progressive excesses, he has consistently supported Democratic candidates when Election Day arrived. That history made a recent exchange with Vice President JD Vance all the more remarkable.
During Friday night’s episode of Real Time, Maher openly questioned the future of the Democratic Party and suggested that he could potentially support a Republican presidential candidate in a future election.
