President Joseph Biden created an uncomfortable situation at a Black History Month event hosted at the White House when he made a remark that was similar to his controversial comments from 2020. Several in attendance remembered how he had said that African-American Trump supporters “ain’t black,” thus their statements were received with raised eyebrows and bewildered looks.
During a White House event on Monday night, President Biden had an awkward encounter when his joke about the black House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) went wrong. Even though it was meant to be amusing, the remark seemed to create some social tension in their exchange.

He proudly revealed his affiliation with the prestigious and powerful “Divine Nine,” an exclusive group of African American sororities and fraternities.
“I know real power when I see it. The Divine Nine,” Biden said that all of the fraternity group presidents were in attendance.
“By the way, I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid,” he continued. “I know where the power is… you think I’m joking. I learned a long time ago about the Divine Nine.”
Joe Biden’s viability as a presidential contender has been seriously questioned in light of his frequent criticism for making offensive remarks towards minorities.
Several people considered Joe Biden’s 2007 remark regarding Barack Obama’s presidential campaign to be racist and disrespectful. The shocking comment left the country wondering what it meant for America. “the first sort of mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean,” adding, “That’s a storybook, man.”
In 2019, Biden accidentally equated “minority” with “poor” when discussing minority education.
“We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor you cannot do it,” Biden said. “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
He then sought to rectify himself after realizing what he had said by saying, “white kids, black kids, Asian kids.”
In a regrettable turn of events, 2020 presidential hopeful Joseph Biden said something controversial. He implied that Black Americans who opposed his campaign were, in essence, “ain’t black,” sending a message to voters that they should all have the same political ideas and ideals.
