Police say a 19-year-old man ran over his own younger brother during what they labeled a “road rage incident.” But the family insists this tragedy is not what it seems — and that their son was acting in self-defense.

Charges That Sparked Outrage

Authorities arrested 19-year-old Juan Figueroa and booked him on charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. He is being held on $500,000 bail, according to a statement from the Yuma Police Department.
