Cuen-Butimea has a regrettable history of unlawful border crossings and deportations; according to federal court documents cited by the U.K.’s Daily Mail, he was sent to Mexico as recently as 2016.

According to sheriff’s chief deputy Gerardo Castillo, the unfortunate incident took place at Kelly’s Cattle Ranch near Kino Springs, a place renowned for its rustic appeal.

He said that Kelly was detained because of “investigation initially revealed that he had shot in the area.”

According to Castillo, authorities are still in the dark about the weapon used to kill Cuen-Butimea.

On January 31, Kelly pleaded with Justice of the Peace Emilio Velasquez in Nogales Court to lower his bail amount since his wife would be alone at their ranch if he was unable to do time for his crime.

According to Nogales International, he stated. “She’s there by herself … nobody to take care of her, the livestock. Or the ranch. And I’m not going anywhere. I can’t come up with a million dollars. Is there … Would you consider reducing it to any degree?”

The appeal was turned down.

  1. Let George Kelly go. Here he is in his own country being held on such high bail. Where are his rights?? The Illegal Immigrant should not have been on his property, let alone he should never have been allowed to cross the border. Biden should be held responsible. He is ruining our Country, I pray he isn’t elected to a 2nd term.
