It happened again — a mob of far-left agitators turned a quiet evening into chaos when pardoned January 6 defendant Jon Mellis was ambushed outside the Tesla Diner in California. What started as a peaceful food pickup quickly spiraled into a violent scene straight out of an Antifa recruitment video.
Witnesses say Mellis was recognized for his Proud Boys shirt — a symbol that triggered the radicals into a frenzy. Within seconds, the group surrounded him, ripping his shirt to shreds and burning his MAGA hat in a shocking act of hatred.
Mellis, a 38-year-old Virginia native, spent four years behind bars for his role on January 6 — punished, as he puts it, “for loving my country.” Yet even after President Trump granted him a full pardon earlier this year, the left’s war against him continues in the streets.
The attack unfolded during another so-called “No Kings” protest — one of many thinly disguised anti-Trump rallies that have become routine scenes of lawless intimidation. Mellis had stopped by the diner after giving speeches that day when the mob struck.
