“It’s not about him winning,” Smith said of former President Donald Trump’s victory. “It was an indictment against the Democratic Party and what the Democratic Party was offering the American citizens.”

Goldberg, eager to defend the left, tried to counter Smith’s argument by insisting that Democrats have always stood for fairness and opportunity. But in doing so, she accidentally revealed the show’s true purpose.
“Oh, yes, it was. I was here. We did it!” Goldberg blurted out when Smith pressed her on whether The View was actively pushing Democrat messaging.
For years, conservatives have pointed out that The View is nothing more than an extension of the Democrat Party’s PR machine. Goldberg’s comment erased any doubt.
Democrats Lost, Trump Didn’t Just Win
Smith didn’t hold back, insisting that Democrats failed to reach the voters who once made up their base.
“They forgot about the people that brought them there, that elevated the Democratic Party to what it was over these last few decades. That’s why they lost. He didn’t win, the Democrats lost,” Smith explained.
Goldberg, desperate to shift the blame away from the left, tried to steer the conversation toward Trump, accusing him of harming the economy.
“All these things are the things the Democrats have always said, but now we have a guy who’s in who says you know, I’m gonna bring down the price of eggs, but first I’m gonna cut all these jobs,” Goldberg ranted. “And I’m not gonna see why they need to be cut, I’m just gonna cut them . . . that’s what he’s doing.”
Smith wasn’t buying it.
“You’re talking about what he’s doing,” he pushed back. “But before you brought that up, you brought up the message that the Democratic Party was disseminating. I’m challenging you on that. That is not what they were doing.”
Goldberg’s slip of the tongue gave away The View’s real role—acting as a mouthpiece for Democrat propaganda.
