Cramer’s Shocking Injury

Cramer later shared a detailed update on his Facebook page, explaining how a simple errand turned into a medical crisis.

“Late yesterday afternoon, I walked to my backyard intending to retrieve a piece of conduit which came off my dock and was laying on the ice,” Cramer wrote.

As he attempted to walk down a hill, he lost his footing, suffering a brutal fall that knocked him unconscious. The next thing he remembered was waking up in the emergency room, where doctors diagnosed him with a concussion, a seizure, and a brain bleed.

“While walking on the hill down to the dock, I stepped on ice and evidently fell hard, hitting the back of my head. I do not remember anything from the fall until arriving at Sanford Health emergency room with [wife] Kris. After seeing the emergency doctor, taking some tests, including a CT Scan, and seeing a neurologist, I was diagnosed with a severe concussion, a seizure, and a slight brain bleed,” Cramer shared.

Doctors had to staple his head wound to stop the bleeding.

“The wound on my head wouldn’t stop oozing, so the doctor punched a couple of staples on the laceration and admitted me,” Cramer continued.

No Timetable for Senate Return

While Cramer is stable, doctors have advised him to rest, leaving his return to Washington uncertain.

“I had a good night’s sleep before getting a second CT scan. I am better today with only a slight brain bleed and pretty bad headaches. Doctors prefer I rest a little longer before returning to DC, so I do not know exactly when that will happen. It will be day to day this week, but I am ready to return quickly if events require it,” he stated.

His absence could complicate Republican efforts in the Senate.

A Major Blow to Trump’s Agenda

Cramer’s hospitalization comes at a crucial moment. House Republicans recently passed a budget resolution allowing them to push forward a reconciliation bill containing Trump’s $4.5 trillion tax cuts, border security measures, and American energy policies. But for the plan to advance, the Senate must also pass its own resolution.

With Cramer out, the GOP holds just 52 votes. If just three Republicans defect—such as moderates Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski—the entire effort could collapse.

While Americans are relieved to hear Cramer is on the mend, his absence could have far-reaching consequences for Trump’s legislative agenda. His recovery will be closely watched as Republicans strategize their next moves in Washington.
