Trump Just DROPPED a DOJ BOMBSHELL!

Attorney General Pam Bondi wasted no time executing Trump’s agenda. One of her first major actions: revisiting the controversial death row commutations Biden issued in his final days in office.

In a letter to Justice Department staff, Bondi made it clear—Biden’s actions had undermined the law.

“The commutations also robbed the victims’ families of the justice promised — and fought hard to achieve — by the Department of Justice,” Bondi wrote.

She directed the DOJ to take immediate action to “achieve justice for the victims’ families of the 37 commuted murderers.”

Bondi outlined specific steps, including creating a public forum where victims’ families could share how Biden’s commutations personally affected them. She called it an “important step” in holding criminals accountable and rebuilding trust in the justice system.

Beyond public forums, Bondi also announced a bold move—revisiting state-level legal options for the commuted killers. In her directive, she instructed U.S. attorneys’ offices to seek state charges where possible, ensuring that justice is served.

She clarified that this approach would only be used “where appropriate and legally permissible” and would involve consultation with victims’ families and other interested parties.

“The Capital Case Section shall assist the United States Attorney’s Offices in implementing this directive,” her letter stated.

But Bondi didn’t stop there. She also ordered the Federal Bureau of Prisons to ensure that the conditions of confinement for the 37 commuted criminals reflect the severity of their crimes.

Biden’s decision to commute the sentences of 37 federal death row inmates drew intense criticism. The White House at the time attempted to justify the move, claiming it would prevent Trump’s administration from carrying out executions that would be inconsistent with “current policy and practice.”

“The President’s criminal justice record has transformed individual lives and positively impacted communities, especially historically marginalized communities,” the White House said in a statement.

Still, even Biden couldn’t go soft on everyone. He left three notorious mass killers on death row: Dylann Roof, the Charleston church shooter; Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber; and Robert Bowers, the gunman behind the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre.

Bondi isn’t just tackling Biden-era DOJ corruption—she’s also going after liberal sanctuary states.

Just last week, the Justice Department filed a lawsuit against New York, Governor Kathy Hochul, and Attorney General Letitia James, accusing them of violating federal law by protecting illegal immigrants.

“This is a new DOJ,” Bondi declared at a news conference. “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops. It stops today.”

She issued a stern warning to other sanctuary states: comply with federal law or face the consequences.

“If you don’t comply with federal law, we will hold you accountable,” Bondi said. “We did it to Illinois, strike one. Strike two is New York. And if you are a state not complying with federal law, you’re next. Get ready.”

The DOJ has already taken steps to dismantle sanctuary laws in Illinois and Chicago, making it clear that under Trump, law and order is back in business.

Trump’s latest move is just another step in his mission to drain the swamp and reclaim the Justice Department from political activists. By cleaning house and reversing Biden’s soft-on-crime policies, the Trump administration is sending a clear message: criminals will be held accountable, and the rule of law will be restored.
