According to St. Clair, their relationship began through interactions on social media. She recalled, “He slid into my DMs. I think it was a meme.” Encouraged by her best friend, she started watching Musk’s SpaceX launches, which eventually led to their meeting in person. At the time, St. Clair was 24, and Musk was 51. Their romance progressed rapidly, with Musk reportedly inviting her to various cities. However, upon discovering her pregnancy, St. Clair claimed she was instructed to keep it confidential, even from close friends and family. She recounted, “I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do, I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody.”

To maintain secrecy, Musk allegedly provided St. Clair with a luxurious apartment in Manhattan’s Financial District, complete with a security detail. Despite these measures, St. Clair felt compelled to go public after a tabloid journalist began investigating the story. She claimed to have informed Musk’s team about her intention to post the announcement on X but received no response. Following her post, Musk did not directly address the claim but responded with “Whoa” to a separate post highlighting a previous tweet from St. Clair about wanting to get his attention for a marriage proposal.

St. Clair expressed frustration over Musk’s public reactions, especially his engagement with posts she found inappropriate. In now-deleted tweets, she questioned his priorities and urged him to address their situation privately for the sake of their child. Her representative, Brian Glicklich, issued a statement confirming that St. Clair and Musk had been working privately on a co-parenting agreement. He expressed disappointment that tabloid interference had forced the matter into the public eye and called for Musk to acknowledge his parental role to end speculation.
This situation adds to Musk’s complex personal life, as he has 12 other children with different women, including singer Grimes and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. As of now, Musk has not publicly commented on St. Clair’s recent statements.
