“I got a law degree, a master’s, and two bachelors. Probably more education than all of y’all added up together at this table. And I have always been the least paid person on payroll at every institution I have worked in,” Allison said.
When panelist Arthur Aidala pressed her on whether this held true even in the Obama administration, Allison did not hesitate.
“Even in the White House,” she admitted.
Aidala responded with a pointed remark: “Well, whose fault is that? I don’t think you worked for George W. [Bush] or Trump!”
Instead of addressing the specific discrimination she claimed to have faced under Obama, Allison shifted her focus to America’s alleged systemic racism.
“But let me tell you something about my story and my family’s story is that we have faced discrimination. I have faced… I just said I was the least paid person. Even in this moment, sometimes to my counterparts, it is just the reality of the country we live in,” she continued.
DEI and the Left’s Hypocrisy
The discussion was sparked by the growing debate over Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs—initiatives that have been used to justify race-based hiring and policies across corporate America, academia, and the federal government.
Under President Donald Trump, DEI programs were placed under scrutiny. Trump signed executive orders dismantling these initiatives, arguing that they were little more than a front for leftist ideological indoctrination. His administration also directed the Justice Department to investigate DEI’s influence in the private sector.
