In a stunning revelation, political commentator Glenn Beck shared his concerns about President-elect Donald Trump’s decision to move much of his inauguration ceremony indoors. The sudden change, announced earlier this week, has left many speculating about the reasons behind it. While Trump cited cold weather as the primary cause, Beck suggested there might be a more troubling explanation.
A Shift Indoors Sparks Speculation
The announcement came Friday when Trump revealed that the majority of the swearing-in ceremony will be relocated from the Capitol lawn to the Capitol rotunda, with additional accommodations at Capital One Arena. Trump attributed the decision to harsh weather conditions expected on January 20, where temperatures are forecasted to hover in the low 20s. “I don’t want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way,” Trump posted on Truth Social, emphasizing safety for attendees, law enforcement, and first responders.

However, Glenn Beck believes there’s more to the story. On his Blaze program, Beck posited that security concerns may be driving the change. “I think this is why they’re moving the inauguration … They’re moving all of the dignitaries inside, where it will be a private event,” Beck stated. He went on to explain that Trump’s history of facing threats, including past assassination attempts, might have prompted his team to prioritize safety.
