Trump Exposes RINO Sellout in Brutal Call!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“Mr. Turner, who emerged from a meeting with the speaker on Wednesday afternoon looking furious, has told people that Mr. Johnson informed him his ouster was the result of a request from Mr. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, according to a person familiar with those conversations,” the Times reported.

Speaker Johnson attempted to downplay the situation, attributing the decision to routine changes within the House.

“It’s a new Congress. We just need fresh horses in some of these places. But I’m a Mike Turner fan,” Johnson told reporters. “He’s done a great job. He performed valiantly in a difficult time under difficult circumstances. So I have nothing but positive things to say about my friend and colleague.”

Trump’s Hand in the GOP Reshuffle

Despite Johnson’s statements, few in Washington believe this was simply a procedural change. Trump’s tight grip on the Republican Party’s direction makes it clear he expects alignment from party leaders, especially on key issues.

Turner’s recent positions put him at odds with Trump’s America First agenda. From his vocal criticism of Trump’s efforts to end the war in Ukraine to his staunch support for the controversial Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act, Turner’s policies represented the establishment wing that Trump has long sought to overhaul.

“This is not a President Trump decision; this is a House decision,” Johnson claimed. “And this is no slight whatsoever to our . . . outgoing chairman.”

But for many observers, Trump’s fingerprints were all over this move.

Ukraine and FISA at the Heart of the Divide

Turner’s public remarks on Ukraine painted a clear picture of his disagreement with Trump’s approach. Appearing on CNN, Turner accused conservatives backing Trump’s Ukraine strategy of parroting Russian propaganda.

“It is absolutely true we see, directly coming from Russia, attempts to mask communications that are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia messages, some of which we even hear being uttered on the House floor,” Turner said.

He went on to claim these narratives made it more challenging to frame the conflict as a battle between democracy and authoritarianism.

“To the extent that this propaganda takes hold, it makes it more difficult for us to really see this as an authoritarian versus democracy battle,” he added.

Trump’s opposition to the Ukraine conflict—which he aims to end within his first 100 days if re-elected—stands in stark contrast to Turner’s views. Additionally, Turner’s backing of Section 702 of FISA, a program Trump has criticized for enabling unwarranted surveillance, only deepened the divide.

Trump’s stance on FISA is clear. Referencing its use to spy on his 2016 campaign, Trump posted on Truth Social:

“KILL FISA, IT WAS ILLEGALLY USED AGAINST ME, AND MANY OTHERS. THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN!!!”

Section 702 is up for reauthorization in 2026, and Turner’s support for it was a red flag in Trump’s eyes.

Democrats Lament Turner’s Departure

Interestingly, Turner’s removal drew concern from Democrats, further highlighting his establishment credentials. Congressman Jim Himes (D-CT), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, expressed unease about the change.

“I’m enormously concerned because I think you’d be hard-pressed to find somebody as fair-minded,” Himes said.

But for Trump and his allies, Turner’s departure signals a necessary step in realigning Republican priorities. By removing Turner, Trump has sent a strong message: the party’s leadership must reflect his agenda, especially on key issues like Ukraine and government surveillance.

A New Era for the GOP

Mike Turner’s ouster as House Intelligence Committee Chairman marks a turning point in the GOP. It underscores Trump’s continued dominance and his determination to shape the party’s future. With his eyes set on a second term, Trump is making it clear—there is no room for dissent in his Republican Party.
