Former Congressman Matt Gaetz has hinted at a return to Capitol Hill, armed with a bombshell revelation about taxpayer-funded #MeToo settlements. The firebrand conservative declared his willingness to expose lawmakers’ alleged misconduct before dramatically resigning—again.
This comes after the House Ethics Committee allegedly voted in secret to release a report that Gaetz described as a “damaging” piece of political lawfare. In a fiery online post, Gaetz suggested he could rejoin Congress in January 2025 to settle some unfinished business. “Someone suggested the following plan to me,” he wrote, laying out a five-step proposal that could send shockwaves through Washington:
- Show up on January 3, 2025, for Congress.
- Participate in the Speaker election.
- Take the oath.
- File a privileged motion to expose every ‘#MeToo’ settlement paid using public funds—even for former members.
- Resign and start my OANN program at 9 p.m. EST on January 6, 2025.
