According to Daily Express, the Vatican reported an operating deficit of $87 million in 2023, marking a $5.3 million increase from the previous year. Many Catholics are pulling back their financial support in response to Pope Francis’ progressive stance on controversial issues like climate change, immigration, and gender ideology.
