At a fiery Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Hawley confronted an open-borders advocate, exposing how illegal immigration is hurting American workers while Democrats push for policies that prioritize non-citizens over the hardworking men and women of this country.
The hearing was designed to showcase supposed economic advantages of illegal immigration as the left scrambles to justify President Joe Biden’s disastrous border policies. But Senator Hawley wasn’t buying the spin.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, senior fellow at the American Immigration Council, testified in favor of illegal immigrants being integrated into the workforce. His group, notorious for supporting open-border policies, claims the Biden administration’s border crisis has been a net positive for the economy.
