The incident, which occurred earlier today, resulted in a fractured hip and raised concerns about her recovery and ability to continue participating in scheduled events.
Pelosi was in Luxembourg as part of a bipartisan Congressional delegation commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Her spokesperson, Ian Krager, initially downplayed the severity of her injuries, stating that while she required medical attention, she would continue working and regretted missing the remainder of her engagements.
