Trump’s Massive Nomination Withdrawal Stuns DC!

President-elect Donald Trump fired back at the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, accusing the publication of peddling negativity in its coverage of his administration appointments. The former president took issue with the outlet’s characterization of the recent withdrawal of Florida Sheriff Chad Chronister as a “setback,” insisting the narrative was both inaccurate and politically motivated.

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump called out the Journal for its reporting on Chronister, who had been nominated to lead the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. “The Wall Street Journal is becoming more and more obnoxious and unreadable,” Trump wrote. “Today’s main headline is: ‘Trump’s DEA Pick Pulls Out In Latest Setback.’ With all that’s happening in the World, this is their Number One story of the day.” He further clarified that Chronister’s withdrawal was not voluntary. “He didn’t pull out, I pulled him out, because I did not like what he said to my pastors and other supporters,” Trump asserted.

Trump, known for demanding loyalty from his team, reportedly soured on Chronister after learning about the conversations.
