NYC Employee BUSTED: Hostage Poster Scandal Rocks City!

A staffer from New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ administration, tasked with promoting diversity and unity, is facing widespread criticism for actions seen as undermining her official responsibilities. Nallah Sutherland, 25, who works as a special events coordinator for the Mayor’s Office of Special Projects and Community Events, was caught on camera removing an Israeli hostage poster in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The incident, which reportedly escalated to an alleged assault on the person filming it, has ignited outrage and calls for her termination.

The controversy centers around footage shared on social media by groups including Jews of NY and StopAntisemitism. The video shows Sutherland ripping the poster from a light pole, tearing it apart, and discarding it in a trash bin. When confronted by a bystander, Sutherland appears to swipe at the person’s phone, briefly knocking it out of focus. The poster was part of a campaign to raise awareness for Israeli and American hostages taken by Hamas during its October 2023 attacks.

Get rid of [painful inflammation] today…thank me later?

“It’s an appalling act of antisemitism,” said StopAntisemitism’s founder, Liora Rez, who has demanded Sutherland’s immediate dismissal.
