Throughout the interview, Tapper, visibly irritated, attempted to corner Vance with questions about Trump and his controversial remarks on Democrat rivals. When they realized Trump was serious about his promise to bring peace and avoid unnecessary conflicts, they grew frustrated. “Absolutely, that is my argument!” Vance declared when Tapper pressed him on whether he truly believed that opposition to Trump stemmed from this issue.
