Former President Donald Trump sat down with popular podcaster Joe Rogan to discuss a variety of topics, with a major focus on the perceived bias displayed by ABC News moderators during the September presidential debate between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. The moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis, were called out by both Trump and Rogan for what they saw as selective “fact-checking” against the former president, while allowing Harris to go unchecked on numerous false claims.
One of the key moments the two highlighted was when the moderators incorrectly claimed that no state permits full-term abortion, a statement that ignored the support for the practice by figures such as former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam. In another instance, Muir and Davis dismissed reports of pets and local wildlife being killed by illegal aliens in a small Ohio town, contradicting police records and testimony from local citizens.

“They fact-checked you and they didn’t fact-check her,” Rogan said to Trump during the interview. The host pointed to one example where Harris falsely claimed there were no troops deployed in war zones, despite the existence of a viral video showing soldiers in a war zone expressing confusion over her statement. “If this is going to be an actual real debate and not a propaganda exercise…you have to fact-check everybody,” Rogan continued.
