He claimed that a large portion of Hurricane Helene’s victims in North Carolina are Trump supporters who will struggle to vote in the upcoming 2024 election. “I’m not sure a bunch of these folks who had their homes and lives destroyed elsewhere, in western North Carolina, in the mountains, are going to be as easy to wrangle for the Trump campaign,” Axelrod said.
