Swing State Dems CAUGHT in Sketchy Election Plot!

Election integrity in Michigan has come under scrutiny again as the Michigan Bureau of Elections (BOE), overseen by the state’s Democratic Secretary of State, introduces a controversial policy shift regarding absentee ballot transparency. Critics warn that this sudden change will severely limit oversight, potentially impacting the transparency of the upcoming 2024 elections.

In a move that has shocked election watchdog organizations, the BOE recently informed groups such as CheckMyVote.org and Michigan Fair Elections that critical absentee ballot data will no longer be available through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Specifically, data about when absentee ballot applications were sent, received, and returned will be restricted. Election integrity advocates say these are essential data points for ensuring proper election audits and monitoring, and their removal raises red flags.

According to Phani Mantravadi, CEO of CheckMyVote.org, the BOE’s decision undermines efforts to verify the absentee voting process. “I don’t see the reasoning behind these changes. The BOE cites voter privacy as the reason, but the date the application is sent and returned has nothing to do with voter privacy,” Mantravadi said. He stressed that without this data, watchdog groups cannot effectively ensure that ballots are properly handled.
