The retired judge, once highly respected in legal circles, allegedly fired at FBI agents before fatally turning the gun on himself.
Rosenwasser had been under investigation for his involvement in a corruption case involving an alleged $63,000 bribe from Mout’z Soudani, a victim in an embezzlement case that the judge had prosecuted in 2022. The indictment, which was handed down earlier this week, would have led to his arrest had the situation not taken this tragic and violent turn.
