In what would almost be an impressive display of coordination, if not for its blatant disregard for journalistic objectivity, the establishment media is once again in the spotlight. This time, it’s ABC News, shamelessly promoting Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris in the lead-up to her highly-anticipated debate against former President Donald Trump.
It’s one thing for media outlets to lean in a particular political direction — we’ve seen it time and again from left-wing networks. But in this case, there are two glaring problems that make this especially troubling: First, the media network in question is the same one hosting the debate. And second, this is far from the first time ABC News has revealed its anti-Trump bias. But this particular instance raises eyebrows for just how close it is to the actual debate.

Just one day before the scheduled debate between Harris and Trump, ABC News posted an article touting Harris’ supposed rise in popularity. The timing is, to say the least, suspicious. According to ABC, Harris is pulling ahead in certain voter groups, particularly among younger voters, women, and black Americans. The article boldly claims that Harris and Trump are neck-and-neck in overall polling, with Harris gaining traction among “likely voters.”
