In a twist on a classic rock anthem, parody songmaker Brian Coyne has reimagined The Doors’ iconic hit “Light My Fire” into a blistering critique of Vice President Kamala Harris. Titled “Big Fat Liar,” the parody pokes fun at Harris’ political track record, with lyrics highlighting her perceived flip-flopping and shifting stances on key issues.
Coyne’s parody video, which seamlessly blends footage from The Doors’ 1967 performance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” with clips of Harris during her 2024 presidential campaign, has taken the internet by storm. Since being uploaded to YouTube on September 2, it has garnered over 716,000 views and more than 3,200 comments, many of which express approval of the satirical take on the Vice President.

The reworked lyrics pull no punches. They call out Harris for her alleged dishonesty and inconsistency, painting her as a “master falsifier.” Coyne incorporates biting humor with lines like:
