Trump’s Two-Word Response to Judge’s Sentencing Delay!

Former President Donald Trump seized on two key words, “if necessary,” in a recent ruling by New York Judge Juan Merchan, who delayed the sentencing in Trump’s criminal case until after the 2024 presidential election. Trump, who’s currently running for re-election, emphasized the language in the ruling, arguing that the case should be dismissed entirely.

The case centers around Trump’s conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in the lead-up to the 2016 election. These payments were made by Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, as hush money to suppress Daniels’ claims of an affair with Trump, a matter that played out prominently in the media.
