Trump disclosed that out of the 700 trained Republican poll watchers who applied to serve in Wayne County, only 50 were accepted. In stark contrast, over 2,300 Democrat poll watchers were permitted, highlighting what she described as a deliberate attempt to tip the scales in favor of one party. “We had 700 trained poll workers from the Republican side apply in Wayne County to be poll workers. Do you know how many of those they actually took? Fifty. Guess how many Democrat poll workers they took? 2,300,” Trump emphasized.
