“But, you know, the big loser last night, Jeff, was the American people. American people have finally found out what’s been going on for the last three-and-a-half, four years. Somebody behind the scenes like the Obamas, the Clintons, Schumer and Pelosi, they’re running our country and Joe Biden has been a puppet president,” Tuberville stated. “He’s the same as he’s been. He’s gotten a little bit worse, but it was a disaster.”
During the debate, former President Donald Trump’s strategy was notably different from Biden’s. Tuberville praised Trump for his tactical restraint and effective use of non-verbal communication, which contrasted sharply with Biden’s struggle.
“President Trump did a good job of pretty much using facial expressions and staying out of the way,” he added. “The rules kind of helped him in terms of not being able to interrupt. But it’s a sad state of affairs. I don’t know what direction the Democrats will go right now, but they’re in panic mode, and the American people just need to understand the deep state is running this country. And they’re going to continue to do it if the Democratic Party and the RINOs of this country keep electing them.”
Reports from various media outlets in the days following the debate suggest a growing unease with Biden’s leadership among Democrats. Nonetheless, prominent figures within his party, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and Vice President Kamala Harris, have shown their support. According to NBC News, Biden plans to convene with his family at Camp David to contemplate his political trajectory.
NBC News is reporting that Biden is set to meet with family at Camp David on Sunday in order to discuss his political future. If Biden were to drop out, one source told the outlet that DNC leaders would have far more influence over a potential replacement if the president bows out after receiving the nomination.

The unfolding scenario points to a turbulent time ahead for the Democratic Party as they grapple with leadership challenges and the looming specter of the 2024 presidential election. Senator Tuberville’s remarks have ignited a conversation about the alleged “deep state” influence in U.S. politics, suggesting a widespread belief among some sectors of the public and lawmakers that shadowy figures are manipulating the political apparatus from behind the scenes.
