Last Friday, officials arrested 27-year-old Walter Ringfield, accusing him of swiping a security fob and keys crucial for the upcoming primary elections.
Surveillance footage from June 20 revealed Ringfield discreetly taking the items from an employee’s desk at the MCTEC, situated in the heart of Phoenix. This footage became a key piece of evidence leading to his subsequent arrest. The theft has caused significant disruptions, forcing county election officials to undertake expensive and urgent security reprogramming.
