According to Patel, Paul Ryan was the first to receive a copy of the controversial Steele Dossier in 2016 and deliberately hid this information from investigators, his Republican colleagues, and Trump officials.
Kash Patel took to Truth Social on Thursday to share this explosive revelation. He wrote, “Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House had in his possession the Steele Dossier before he had [Devin Nunes] and I launch Russia Gate Investigation, and never told us (think, before anyone knew anything about fake intel, he had his own copy). I found it on my own then blew up FBI/DOJ. Why didn’t he tell his own damn team? Report that fake news.”

During his appearance on “The War Room,” Patel provided more details about his findings on Paul Ryan. He recalled the intense period of 2016 when accusations of Russia collusion were rampant. “Then Speaker Paul Ryan enlisted me and Devin Nunes to investigate the Russia collusion,” Patel said. He emphasized that nobody knew about the Steele Dossier back then, yet the FBI had already used it to unlawfully surveil Donald Trump.
Patel’s investigation revealed that Paul Ryan had the Steele Dossier before anyone else did, but he chose to withhold this critical information. “He never told us. He still never admitted it. It finally was admitted in a British court where Christopher Steele was being sued,” Patel explained. He criticized Ryan for not allowing them to ask crucial questions that could have uncovered the truth much earlier. “He rigged it from the beginning,” Patel asserted.
Patel didn’t hold back in his condemnation of Ryan, stating, “I’m done listening to lectures about the new conservative brand that is Paul Ryan, and anytime he wants to debate me, I’m all in. He charged us with an investigation that he rigged because he didn’t want Donald Trump to succeed. He kneecapped him from the beginning.”
