The podcast, known for its high-profile Silicon Valley hosts including Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, and David Friedberg, provided a platform for Trump’s surprising commendations.
“I assume he’s gonna be somebody that will be a worthy debater. … I don’t want to underestimate him,” Trump remarked, setting a respectful tone that diverged sharply from his previous comments. His reference to Biden’s past debate performance against Paul Ryan was particularly noteworthy. “All I can say is this: I watched him with Paul Ryan, and he destroyed Paul Ryan.
