Kari Lake Drops Bombshell in Senate Battle!

WATCH:

“I am humbled to have the endorsement of Sen. J.D. Vance,” Lake said. “He has been a conservative hero in the Senate, standing up for America First values and never backing down to the DC Swamp. I look forward to joining him in the Senate to get our country back on track.”

As the party has come together to back Lake in her Senate campaign, Vance has lately joined the ranks of those senators. Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT), the head of the Senate Republicans’ campaign, also endorsed Lake earlier this month.

It is clear that Lake’s attempts to patch things up and create a bridge with the Republican establishment have paid off, since her campaign is gathering steam and earning the interest of influential GOP strategists and funders. She had the chance to interact directly with senators and powerful funders during the NRSC winter conference in Palm Beach, Florida, and many of them voiced their enthusiasm for the campaign’s focus and direction.

In spite of her past run-ins with the establishment, Lake has made a significant effort to mend fences and reach out to her detractors. Her support for the NRSC highlights the unity of Republicans in Arizona, a historically competitive state that has leaned toward the Democratic Party in previous elections.

The head of the Arizona Republican Party resigned last month after a video surfaced that showed him pressuring Lake to accept cash or a position in exchange for her dropping her campaign. He sent his resignation notice citing worries about “her limited appeal with moderates and independents, and her being a drag on the entire ticket.”

But according to recent surveys, Lake is trailing Democratic contender Representative Gallego for the first time in a long time. In spite of this, Lake will still be a strong competitor due to her prominence in the MAGA movement, which heightens the uncertainty surrounding the race.

Gallego leads Lake by seven points in an Emerson College survey conducted for The Hill and Nexstar. Gallego received 46% of the vote, compared to Lake’s 39%. Gallego leads Lake by six points with 36% of the vote in another survey conducted at the same time period and according to the same sources.

Now, the crucial task of recovering a crucial Senate seat for the GOP falls on Lake’s team.
