According to Air Force and local law enforcement sources, an active-duty member of the United States Air Force shockingly self-immolated outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., as previously reported by The Gateway Pundit.
At 1:00 p.m. local time, the US Secret Service made a request for assistance, and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reacted, arriving at the 3500 block of International Drive, NW.

According to an MPD statement, “An individual set themselves on fire in front of an embassy in the block.”
According to DC officials, the man—who was subsequently identified as Aaron Bushnell—was in serious condition when he was taken by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital.
“MPD’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) has also been requested to scene in reference to a suspicious vehicle that may be connected to the individual. This remains an active investigation at this time,” MPD wrote.
